Osteopathic MOT

Keeping you up and running

Osteopathic MOT

Our bodies could be likened to a car that needs regular servicing and maintenance. The Osteopathic MOT treatment aims to release stresses and strains that have often accumulated over the years. If you feel sore all the time, an Osteopathic MOT could be right down your street. Many of us will have suffered trauma at some point in our lives, such as from car accidents sporting injuries. Osteopathy treatment will help you loosen up and feel new again, meet your needs and provide hands-on revitalising treatment. The Osteopath MOT is a valuable way of determining and correcting problems. Some areas of the spine or body can become tiring and painful over time. The Osteopathic MOT treatment may help improve vitality energy levels and reduce the probability of ongoing pain.

We will provide you with treatment and specific exercises to help you feel better and strengthen weaker areas. Unfortunately, many of us lead relatively sedentary lives due to family and work pressures leaving muscles and joints achy and painful. It’s a fact that unless we stretch or exercise, we may only use 60% of the available range of motion in our joints! Without a doubt, our head, heart, muscle and joint systems need movement to feel better, feed cartilage and stimulate strength and bone growth. Overwork and a sedentary lifestyle may lead to pain, low energy and constant tiredness. It’s no fun being in pain or simply not moving the way you used to. Osteopathy can help enormously by providing exercises and treatments that encourage energy levels.

Osteopathy helping you to feel better.

Osteopathy treatment will help you feel better. The Osteopath will look for old injuries or developing problems during the consultation. They may observe restrictions in the body framework that may develop into pain or, in the long term, arthritis. Minor changes in how we function and move can make a massive difference to our health over time. Osteopathy can help to correct many problems through individual advice and treatment. The Osteopath may recommend further PhysiotherapyAcupuncture, Pilates or exercise programs if needed.

What our clients say

Thank you Hatfield Practice, especially Osteopath Chris, for making my body do things that I thought not possible…. I’m trying to stretch every night to keep those skiing positions…but its hard at my age but I’m kicking those 25 age somethings  a***s, like a 43-year-old should!

Sally- Ski instructor

I have been working with Dora (Physio). Apart from the very professional treatment, she always went out of her way to treat me like a real person and was genuinely interested in how i felt . This holistic and human approach to care makes such a difference and seems to permeate the whole practice – from the greeting at reception to the banter between colleagues to the therapy itself.

Sue M.
