Hatfield Practice provides free and easy parking for up to eight or nine cars. Parking is also available along Ground Lane, Hatfield. There are also two or three marked one-hour bays across the road. Once you’ve safely arrived at the Hatfield Practice the receptionist will provide you with some simple contact forms to fill out.
Once you are safely in the treatment room, the Practitioner will review your medical history. Your history helps build a unique picture of your lifestyle and presenting complaints. We pride ourselves on good communication, ensuring you are happy and that we clearly understand your needs. After the paperwork is done, the Practitioner will undertake a biomechanical assessment and postural analysis to help build a clearer picture of you and your complaint. The Practitioner will then progress to the treatment and provide advice that suits your needs.

Hatfield Practice is affiliated with BUPA, AXA Health, and most major health insurance companies. If you have insurance, please bring your membership and authorisation numbers to your appointment. For more details, please refer to the information provided at the bottom of this page. We strictly follow the latest PPE guidelines and maintain high standards of hygiene in our practice and treatment rooms.

Private Health Care & Special Offers terms and conditions*
*Hatfield Practice has contracts with BUPA, AXA Health, and most major insurance companies. Hatfield Practice will claim BUPA and AXA on your behalf. You must provide us with your membership and authorisation numbers (required before treatment). All appointments with private health companies, including BUPA and AXA, are for half an hour for first and any follow-up appointments.
Most other insurers will cover treatments by our Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, and Acupuncturists. If you are unsure whether your preferred treatment is covered, please call your insurance company to confirm acceptance.
Please have details of your insurance company policy ready when you call. We will require the policy name, policy number/membership number, authorisation/claim code, number of sessions/spending limit (£), excess details, and benefit limitations. Please check this carefully, as you will be responsible for any charges that are not covered.
You will be asked to pay for your first consultation and follow-up treatments up to your policy excess limit. Any treatment costs that exceed the excess will be invoiced directly to your insurer. Whilst all other major insurance companies recognise us, you will be expected to pay at the time of treatment, and we shall issue receipts for you to claim.
