Facilities – Hatfield Practice
Facilities at the Hatfield Practice in Herts include five fully equipped treatment rooms. Including two rooms on the ground floor for patients who can’t manage the stairs. Treatment rooms are modern, warm and safe, so you feel very much at home. The Practice has a spacious, comfortable reception area up to date and modern bathroom facilities. Parking is easy and outside the practice at numbers 6 and 8 Ground LaneThere is also parking in marked bays across the road.
To help with access to the Practice, we have a gentle ramp into the building. Of course, we are always happy to help if you need assistance. We follow the latest government guidelines around COVID and kindly ask all patients to do the same. The reception area provides up-to-date magazines, and Wifi is available. We have a kitchen area and are pleased to provide hot and cold drinks. Our coffee is terrific! Hatfield Practice only employs friendly people who are glad to help. Physiotherapy shop and facilities
The reception area has a shop stocking supplements and kinesiology tape. We also provide massage oils and rehabilitation items such as TENS machines and knee, elbow, thumb, and wrist braces. We are always happy to order specialist orthopaedic pillows, back supports and specialist braces or splints. These days they usually arrive within 24 hours. We are glad to loan out equipment such as back and maternity supports, TENS machines, seat wedges, etc., for patients to try.
Treatment equipment
Hands-on Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, and Massage treatments are at the heart of what we do. The Practice electrotherapy equipment provides acupuncture, ultrasound, laser, infra-red, interferential and H- wave. With you in mind, the Physiotherapist or Osteopath will use the most appropriate equipment for your treatment.
With Traditional Chinese Medicine, we provide Acupuncture, Acupuncture for fertility, Electro-Acupuncture, cupping and Gua Sha (Chinese massage). Holistic therapies such as Reflexology and Indian Head Massage are also available.
