Helen Taylor-Weekes Acupuncture at the Hatfield Practice

What I do

Helen Taylor-Weekes is the lead Acupuncturist at the Hatfield Practice. She has been involved with Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture since 1988. Helen specialises in using gentle Acupuncture techniques for muscle, nerve and joint pain. Helen’s passion is Acupuncture for fertility and helping men and women with fertility problems, IVF, and male and female fertility. Her treatments are a safe and effective and safe way to help you prepare your body for pregnancy and recover after your baby. Helen is known for her listening skills and warm heart and often develops a close relationship with her fertility patients encouraging close communication and emotional support. Helen Taylor – Weekes has trained with Jane Lyttleton, one of the world’s leading lights in Acupuncture for fertility, in combining Acupuncture with western medicine and IVF procedures. She has also trained with Zita West, our UK-based fertility guru!

After more than 30 years in Practice, Helen loves practising Traditional Acupuncture in Hatfield, holistic and natural approaches to health. Helen explains, “Acupuncture energises the inherent healing power within all of us”. Traditional Acupuncture, when correctly applied, works so well to encourage health and wellness. Helen tells us that Chinese Acupuncture is brilliant for problems like muscle and joint pain, trapped nerves, bells, palsy, shingles, arthritis, pain, and medically related ailments.

Apart from Acupuncture in Hatfield, Helen has trained in forensic science as a health care advisor and taught as a chemistry lecturer. She is a wife and mother with six grown-up children and eight grandchildren. Helen successfully helped establish the Hatfield Practice in the nineties with her husband Ian, who works as an Osteopath at the Practice.
