What I do

Acupuncturist Athena Kwok gained her Bachelor of Chinese Medicine (Hons) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006. Athena then progressed to Masters in Acupuncture and Moxibustion at the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.  Athena Kwok is a Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner and herbalist.

 

Athena specialises in integrating both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element styles of Acupuncture. Athena enjoys practising her gentle Acupuncture style, treating patients with her unique sense of calm and sensitivity “while watching their improvement unfold”. She offers a variety of treatments designed specifically for each patient’s needs and well-being. Athena complements her unique style of acupuncture with the prescription of Chinese Herbs.

Treatments include Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Prescription of Chinese Herbal Granules, Moxibustion, Electroacupuncture, Tuina, Gua Sha and Chinese Cupping. Athena also specialises in treating Fertility for assisted IVF, Morning Sickness and Pre-birth.

Acupuncture treatments with Athena work well for low back pain, Headaches, Vertigo and dizziness, Asthma and Coughs. Abdominal pain and discomfort and Digestive problems like IBS, Irritable bowel and bloated stomach. Also, menstruation, Pain, Insomnia, and emotional issues such as Depression and post covid fatigue.
