My husband and I are about to go through our third cycle of IVF and I want to do everything I can to increase our chances of success. What are your thoughts on acupuncture?

The British Acupuncture Council (BAC) and The Welwyn & Hatfield Practice recommends that women trying IVF should consider fertility-focused acupuncture. It is thought it may make the lining of the uterus more receptive to receiving an embryo, help regulate the menstrual cycle and encourage better egg quality. In the light of this report, the BAC maintains that acupuncture helps hundreds of women to conceive.

Helen studied at the British College of Acupuncture in London and graduated in 1988.
Following graduation she taught clinical studies and point location at the College Teaching Clinic before going into private practice. She has now been helping patients using Acupuncture for more than 20 years.
